P38 National Association Membership Meeting

On June 25,2011 I was honored to be the keynote speaker and to show the documentary produced by Der Spiegel TV, Love in the time of War: The Last Flight of Lieutenant Estill, at the National P-38 Association Annual Membership Meeting, in Valle, Arizona.

Two P-38s flew in for the Planes of Fame Museum Air Show and rides were sold to support their preservation. The P-38 National Association keeps the memory (and reality) of the P-38 by preserving extensive archives, holding membership meetings, and honoring the pilots who flew the P-38 during WW II in the Pacific and European theatres.
